Underground Africa

Underground Africa is a Techno collective from Johannesburg, and one of the most respected in South Africa. We're known for working hard and for caring a lot about the music. Since 2020 our events have helped shape the underground scene here, from club nights and warehouse raves to day raves and even Monday raves.

We often book international artists, big and small, to build a stronger link between South Africa and the rest of the world. KOVA, our record label, which we launched in 2024, does the same, releasing local and international artists with a focus on stern, hypnotic Techno with a serious edge.
